CHAKRAS

Chakras are the energy centres in the human body that circulate,
transform and transport the energy (life forces).
Seven chakras are aligned in a column
from the base of the spine to the top of the head
and are associated with the main endocrine glands.
There is a constant rotation of the energy between the chakras
(Chakra means wheel of light in Sanskrit).

Energy blockage or imbalance between chakras may lead
to hormonal disorders and imbalance between the body, mind and spirit.
Keeping the chakras in balance is important to maintain emotional stability,
inner peace and physical and mental health.

The Root Chakra is associated with the earth, grounding, solidity and physical world.
It is an energy centre that provides a solid ground in the reality.
If the Root Chakra is hyperactive it arouses inclination to selfishness and extreme materialism.
Its deficient activity causes tendency to ‘escape’ from the earthy things.

Second chakra is a centre of human primitive behaviour, sexual energy and creative forces.
It deals with relationships between humans, especially of the opposite gender.
Balanced sacral chakra fosters the openness and naturalness.
If the chakra is not properly aligned or blocked it can affect the sexual sphere of life.

Solar Plexus chakra is associated with emotional nature, vitality and strength.
Its correct activity fosters emotional balance.

This chakra represents spirituality, openness to the beauty and arts and spontaneity.
A balanced heart chakra is the source of sincere and unspoiled love.

Responsible for communication and self-expression.
The throat chakra acts as the connection point between the lower and upper chakras
as well as between the thoughts and the feelings.

Third eye chakra is associated with wisdom, imagination, creative mind, intuition
and paranormal skills. It also increases clarity of mind and inner vision.

Considered to be the chakra of pure consciousness and the supernatural.
It is the most mysterious of all chakras.
